On 10th December 2014, the closing ceremony of the virtual stock exchange FESE 11th and the MOU signing ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Law (UEL) and Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation (HSC) took place at UEL with the participation of a large number of students who are passionate for investment in HCMC.

FESE is a virtual stock trading exchange held annually by UEL and continuously for the past 11 years. This is an intensive academic playground which helps to develop essential soft skills for “student investors”. FESE 11th attracted more than 30,000 students among which more than 3,000 were directly involved in opening transaction accounts, and a couple of securities and finance clubs from other universities and colleges in HCMC as well as in the Northern and Central regions. HSC has been supporting FESE for many years. The Company has also recruited students from generations of FESE programs, from which many of them have grown up and held important positions at the Company. This year, HSC continues to be a strategic partner with FESE, sponsoring up to 500 million VND for a 5-year period from 2014 to 2019, including financial support for the operation of FESE, scholarships, recruitment and professional training for students. The MOU signing for strategic partnership between UEL and HSC opens up many opportunities for students to participate in the stock market in the future, and strengthen the close relations between companies and colleges in order to improve quality of human resources.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Cong Thien - Deputy  CEO of HSC said: "This partnership helps both parties to connect more closely as well as helps fresh graduates to integrate into the labor market immediately without spending more time to start to learn practical skills”.

This is one of the corporate social responsibility activities that HSC has continuously implemented to support the development of the Vietnamese youth such as supporting for FTU Career Day, training for AIESEC and sharing in Open University HCMC Career Day.
