On 13th July 2014, HSC joined the 6th  “Vietnam Youth to Business Forum in 2014” organized by AIESEC – an international youth organization – at University of Economics and Law (UEL) of Ho Chi Minh City, as a national silver partner of AIESEC.

The forum was considered as a connection between local top students and enterprises, as well as an opportunity for both parties to share about concerning topics. The forum’s theme this year was “The leader in me”, with the purpose of bringing a deeper understanding of the importance of self-leadership and strategies of self-development to become creative, professional, and successful young talented leaders in a globalized environment.

The forum attracted more than 500 talented students from universities across Vietnam, along with more than 30 representatives from companies and multinational corporations such as HSC, Unilever, Suntory PepsiCo, Nestlé, Samsung, HSBC, VCCI, British Council.

As a national silver partner of AIESEC, HCS not only sponsored but also actively participated in sharing and contributing to the forum for the purpose of empowering, nurturing and supporting young generations in broadening knowledge, strengthening competencies, and adapting to business environment. Mr. Le Cong Thien – Deputy CEO, and Mr. Arnold V.Pangilinan – Managing Director – Chief Risk Officer – representing HSC brought a deep insight on a portrait of a leader in the finance industry. By listenning to students’ concerns, both speakers had opportunities to share their practical experience in the industry, challenges, difficulties, and opportunities that a future leader needs to know, especially leaders in the finance industry. In addition, both speakers once again affirmed the importance of self-awareness and self-development in terms of leadership skills during time at university.

Positively influencing by contributing positive values to the society generally and the youth particularly is the vision to which HSC’s aiming. With this vision, HSC will continue to maintain strong relationship with AIESEC and other youth organizations to wide-spread positive influence towards Vietnam’s young generations.
