MR. JOHAN NYVENE
Mr. Johan Nyvene was elected Chairman of HSC’s Board of Directors in April 2021. He was also CEO and executive member of the BoD for 13 years from 2007 to March 2020. During that time, he implemented several reforms, leading HSC to become one of the largest securities companies in Vietnam. Prior to HSC, Mr. Nyvene had been with HSBC Vietnam, where he set up and led the Securities Service Department of the Bank. He began his financial career as an analyst and international banking expert, in charge of Southeast Asian markets at CoreStates First Union Bank in USA.
MR. LE ANH MINH

Mr. Le Anh Minh has been a member of the BoD for 13 years and appointed Vice Chairman for 02 consecutive terms, term IV (2011 - 2020) and term V (2021 - 2025). He is currently a Senior Director of Dragon Capital VietFund Management (DCVFM). He joined the Dragon Capital (DC) in 2002 and has held various important positions such as CEO, CFO, and Executive Member of the BoD of DC. Prior to that, he was Financial Director of Coca-Cola in Southeast Asia. After graduating from Vietnam Banking University in 1991, he joined Peregrine Capital Vietnam, where he completed Vietnam's first M&A deal with the takeover of Dai Nam Commercial Joint Stock Bank and then became its Deputy CEO. He holds a MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
MR. ANDREW COLIN VALLIS
Mr. Andrew Colin Vallis joined HSC’s BoD as an independent member in April 2021. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking sector in Asia and Europe. Currently, he is also a non-executive member of the BoD of Beta Media JSC and Beta Holdings JSC. From 2013 to 2017 he was Vice Chairman of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) in Vietnam. During that time, he also served as Chairman of the Risk Management Sub-Committee and the Strategy Sub-Committee. He was Chairman of the BoD of ACB Securities from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, he had been with the Standard Chartered Bank for 14 years. During the time, he held several senior positions including Global Co-Head of Corporate Advisory in Singapore, European Co-Head of Wholesale Banking in London, Global Head of Equities Business Development in Hong Kong. He was then seconded to ACB in Vietnam in 2013. He has an honors degree in Law from Nottingham University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in London.
MR. LE HOANG ANH
Mr. Le Hoang Anh has been a non-executive member of HSC’s BoD since April 2016. Currently, he is the Chief Representative of Dragon Capital Management (HK) Limited in Ho Chi Minh City. He held many positions at Dragon Capital: Senior Analyst, Market Analyst,and Operations Director. Prior to Dragon Capital, Mr. Hoang Anh had worked at the HCMC Department of Planning and Investment and NLN Trading Company, Hungary, as an Economist and Financial Analyst. He holds a PhD in Economics.
MRS. NGUYEN THI HOANG LAN
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan joined HSC’s BoD as an independent member in April 2021. She had been Vice Chairman of the BoD cum Executive Deputy General Director of the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) for 12 years. Before HNX, she was Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, and Deputy Director of the HR Department of the State Securities Commission (SSC). She was among the first generation of officials at SSC. She also worked as a Specialist in the Issuance Management under the Treasury Department at the State Bank. She received a Master's degree in International Economic Relations from the Plekhannov Economic Institute, Russia, in 1995.
MRS. PHAN QUYNH ANH
Mrs. Phan Quynh Anh is the representative of Ho Chi Minh City Finance and Investment Company (HFIC) interests at HSC. She is currently the Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting Department of HFIC. She holds a MBA degree from the joint program between the Open University and Solvay University (Belgium).
MR. TRAN QUOC TU
Mr. Tran Quoc Tu was appointed a member of HSC’ BoD in April 2021. He is from Ho Chi Minh City Finance and Investment Company (HFIC) and represents HFIC’s interests at HSC. He is the Chief Legal Officer of HFIC. He has over 12 years of experience at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice as Deputy Head of Document Inspection Division and Deputy Head of Legal Documents Division. He holds a Bachelor of Administrative Law degree from Ho Chi Minh City Law University
